We gladly accept returns for refund on all purchases made at our stores, provided the items are in a saleable condition and accompanied by the original receipt of purchase.

RETURNING PRODUCTS PURCHASED ONLINE

We understand that there may be instances where you need to return a product you purchased from the Paintaway online store. To assist you, we have outlined the Paintaway Returns Policy with key points to consider.

Australian Consumer Law: Our Returns Policy fully acknowledges and upholds your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (if you are a consumer) and other applicable laws. It includes guarantees the cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. In the case of a major failure, you are entitled to a replacement or refund. If the goods fail to meet acceptable quality standards without constituting a major failure, you are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not restricted by a specific timeframe. However, it is recognized that the availability of remedies may vary for different products, taking into account factors such as the nature of the product and its price. Paintaway follows the same approach. The type of remedy we can offer may also depend on the timeliness of returning the product.

We kindly request that you make careful choices when making a purchase, as Paintaway does not accept returns (or exchanges) for products solely due to changes of mind, dissatisfaction with colors, or when the purchase was an unwanted gift. Additionally, we do not accept returns (or exchanges) for tinted paints.

For products purchased online, returns (or exchanges) are only accepted if the items are found to be faulty and the fault is not a result of misuse, abnormal use, or negligence.

RETURNS PROCEDURE

If you need to return goods, please contact the Paintaway store where you collected your items.The store staff will assess whether the purchased goods are damaged or faulty through no fault of your own or as a result of wear and tear.

In such cases, you will be entitled to:

-A refund credited back to the original credit card used for the purchase

Please note that refunds can only be processed by the Paintaway during business hours from Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays). The refund will be issued to the credit card used for the purchase. Before a refund is processed, customers are required to return the faulty or damaged item, along with the purchase receipt, to the Paintaway store where the item were collected (at the cost of the buyer if shipping).
